Patriots’ Adrian Clayborn injures quad in practice, report says

Adrian Clayborn suffered a setback as he gears up for his first season with the Patriots.

The defensive end “tweaked” his quadriceps during offseason workouts, and he could be limited as organized team activities begin, according to ESPN.

Vrana, a Prague native and the 13th overall selection in the 2014 NHL draft, had a goal and two assists playing with Ovechkin in a critical Game 5 win over Pittsburgh.

“Obviously it means a lot when the coach trusts you for a player. You just get confidence. It’s a big responsibility. You’ve just got to make sure you go out there and get those little details right,” said Vrana.

Stephenson, a 2012 third-rounder from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, had an assist and a shorthanded goal in the Capitals’ series-clinching win over Columbus.

“It’s going to be a cleansing of the Cleveland Browns,” Jackson said at the NFL Scouting Combine. “That’s what it will be.”

To sweeten the deal, Jackson vowed that, for every franchise employee who joins him in the water, he will donate $100 to his foundation that fights human trafficking.

Jackson’s jump will be held at a private location and be open to employees only.

In June of 2002, Jaguars punter Chris Hanson, his wife and teammate (kicker) Jaret Holmes were severely burned when a fondue pot overturned on the floor of Hanson’s Jacksonville home. Hanson suffered first- and second-degree burns on both hands and his right ankle.

“It happened so fast,” Hanson told The Florida Times-Union. “We were moving the fondue pot when it slipped onto the tile floor at my house, then my wife fell into it. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it’s been quite an ordeal. We’re just now getting her home.”ravens_005
